ZANU PF POWER FIGHT: MNANGAGWA, CHIWENGA AND WAR VETERANS CLASH

0

The fight for power in ZANU PF is getting worse. President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Vice President Constantino Chiwenga are no longer hiding their war. It is now open for all to see. War veterans have also joined, making things even more serious. They are saying Zimbabwe is now like November 2017 again, the time when former President Robert Mugabe was removed by the army.

Information Minister Jenfan Muswere has come out to fight for Mnangagwa. He is one of Mnangagwa’s close people. He is now defending Mnangagwa from Chiwenga and the war veterans. This fight is now shaking the government and businesses that work with ZANU PF.

The big issue in this war is Mnangagwa’s plan to stay in power until 2030. He wants to change the rules so he can have a third term. But Chiwenga does not want this to happen. Chiwenga also does not like how Mnangagwa is putting his own friends and family in high positions. There is too much corruption and greed in ZANU PF, and now they are fighting over who should be eating the biggest piece of the cake.

Chiwenga helped Mnangagwa become president in 2017. He was the leader of the military that removed Mugabe. But now he is no longer happy. He wants his turn to rule Zimbabwe. This is why he is fighting Mnangagwa. War veterans are also angry because they feel used. They fought for the country, but now they see that only a few people are enjoying the benefits.

The fight between Mnangagwa and Chiwenga is now making people inside ZANU PF choose sides. Some are standing with Mnangagwa, while others are moving to Chiwenga. This is the same thing that happened when Mugabe was removed. ZANU PF is now eating itself again.

The people of Zimbabwe are watching all this. Some are scared that the army will step in like it did in 2017. War veterans are already saying that Zimbabwe is moving towards another coup. The last time this happened, people celebrated thinking life would be better. But after Mnangagwa took power, things became worse. Prices went up, people lost jobs, and corruption became even bigger.

Now Mnangagwa is trying to stay in power for longer. But Chiwenga and war veterans do not want that. This is where the real fight is. Chiwenga knows that if Mnangagwa changes the rules to stay in power, then he will never get his chance. This is why he is using war veterans to fight back. They are the ones who helped bring Mugabe down, and they can do the same again.

Muswere is trying to control the situation by speaking for Mnangagwa. But this is not enough. More people in ZANU PF are now looking at what will happen next. Will Chiwenga push Mnangagwa out the same way he helped him get in? Will the army take sides? These are the big questions.

The ordinary people of Zimbabwe do not benefit from this fight. Whether Mnangagwa stays or Chiwenga takes over, nothing will change for the people. This is just a battle between powerful men who want to control Zimbabwe for themselves. They are not fighting for the people; they are fighting for their own wealth and power.

The biggest danger is that this fight will make Zimbabwe unstable again. When big men in ZANU PF fight, the whole country suffers. The economy will get worse, businesses will close, and prices will go up even more. People will struggle even more than they already are.

ZANU PF has always been about power and control. Now, they are eating each other because they do not want to share power. This is what happens when a country is ruled by selfish leaders. Zimbabweans must wake up and see that ZANU PF will never fix this country. They are only interested in themselves.

The fight is just starting. If things continue like this, Zimbabwe might see another big change. But the real question is: will that change bring anything better for the people? Or will it just be another game of replacing one dictator with another?
